This program is designed for personnel involved with firearms training and for those who are responsible for maintenance, issue, repair, and modification of DOE standardized and special-purpose weapons. The program includes practical application in weapon assembly and disassembly, corrective procedures for malfunctions, allowable modifications that enhance weapons reliability, and safety-related issues involving engagement simulation systems equipment.
Armorer is designed for DOE site armorers who are responsible for issuing, inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and modifying DOE weapons.
